Long time, no art! Apologies to everyone waiting for a picture, I wish I had another set of arms to move the process along. Here's a picture of ~Satsoken's mysterious night wanderer, Zhepryl. I love this insomniac and his plumed hat.

This character and I go way back. Like this far back. Or even this far back. Warning, blast from the past. Those links may break your eyes. Or at least make them leak precious bodily fluids for a bit. I'm serious -- I can predict the future. D8

Recently I've just returned to Beijing after travelling to other areas in China. I was fortunate enough to have a chance to visit Chengdu and Kunming, both of which are fantastic cities. In Chengdu, we sampled spicy spicy hotpot, visited the pandas, rode on a boat past the giant wooden Le Shan Buddha and climbed Qingcheng Mountain. The highlight of Kunming was the Stone Forest, this incredible natural forest of jagged rock that takes all sorts of shapes. I need to sort through photos soon~~ Sorry I have been out of touch, I need to catch up a bit as I've missed a few classes.

Adobe Photoshop CS2. Inspiration jacked from ~ataviceIX, when I first saw her rendition of Venom, I wanted to do a similar style with Zhepryl. I'd give a link, but the gallery is blank at the moment. Also, if the colours seem unusual, it is because I'm CGing on my laptop now. It's both a blessing and a curse.. I'm forced to use as few layers and fancy brushes as possible, haha.
