Drowtales: ELITE SARGHRESS HIT SQUAD

I've really been lucky to work with on a story for Drowtales. It will follow Wafay's struggle to unravel the conspiracy bubbling away in her homeland - or perhaps she was just chasing ghosts all along.

Su'ube was oh-so-generous enough to spare five Sarghress soldiers to accompany Wafay: we have Erelice, their smooth-talking leader (she can expertly bargain the pants right off of you); Filf'rae, who makes substantial knuckle sandwiches; Sabryne (you'll never see her coming); Vayas'arn, the wonderfully enthusiastic golem engineer (NERD TRIP); and finally, Brizdra, the ex-Illhar'dro.

The comic is set to be released in the winter of 2013. I'm super excited to be working on it.

2015 EDIT: So this entire lovely cast, with the exception of Vayas, meets their untimely demise at the hands of Snadhya'rune. They are blown to little red pulpy bits (Briz'dra loses half her head in one scene). Fil'Frae goes out like a freaking hero protecting Vayas. Erelice takes on a century-old demon and stabs Snadhya'rune right in her snake heart. I think my stomach turned inside-out when I saw what happened to these ladies in the main storyline, but this still remained a worthwhile project.  I mourn the loss of the four dead ones.
